2010 Membership Social Photos

Despite the grim weather outside, Arlene Taylor’s beautiful home looked like spring for the HWTA Membership Social on February 23, thanks to Jane Bise’s gorgeous flower arrangements in the dining room and kitchen. The tennis racquet decorated by Eugenia McCoy added a special welcoming touch to the side entry door.

Our gracious hostess, Arlene Taylor, and our 2010 President, Dottie Patterson, greeted guests at the door. Mary Ann DeMaioribus, filling in for Helga, reported more than 80 ladies signed in during the two hour Social, with many members renewing. There were also several new members joining HWTA. Donna Lamb did a great job with publicity, getting the word out about the Social.

Special thanks to the ladies who kept everything running smoothly during the event: Marsha Gates, Lee Harris, Milly Harris, Connie Keltner, Barbara Lammers-Daniel, Janice Leech and June Terry. They were invaluable! Thank you, too, to Barbara Hitt for being there to take “portrait” photos for the back of the yearbook and to June Woo for her wonderful, fun, group pictures.

And to our professional punch pouring presidents – Linda Baumbach, Caffey Litkenhous, Cathy Maner, Kim Mims, Tina Robertson, Penny Sumners, Margo Williams and Irene Wisner – your cooperative spirit and willingness to help are much appreciated!
