Summer Social

The HWTA Summer Social was held on June 21, 2008 from 10-12 with a luncheon after. Fifteen courts were reserved for the event with 60 participants. Rain was in the forecast but we lucked out and had a beautiful sunny day to enjoy tennis.

Most everyone came to the luncheon after play. Prizes were awarded for most games won, most games lost, least games won, least games lost, etc. The social ended approximately at 1pm.

Thanks to everyone that pitched in especially to Karen Mitchell who put out all the food and drinks. Thanks to June Woo for the use of her camera so we could take pictures during and after play. Special thanks to Ronnie Dodson who helped clean up and put chairs away. Pam Vickroy and Kathy French thank everyone that participated in making this another great HWTA Summer Social.
